Established under the auspices of Kisii University’s administration, KECOSA aims to serve as a home for all students hailing from Kericho County, regardless of their diverse backgrounds. The Vision and Mission of KECOSA

In a call to action, KECOSA is inviting all students from the region to participate actively in the association’s numerous initiatives. From cultural events to sports activities, KECOSA offers platforms for students to showcase their talents and engage with one another. “We believe in the power of collaboration,” Kipkirui added. “When we join hands, we can uplift KECOSA and, by extension, our community.”

Under the guidance of its patron, Madam Evaline Kimibei, KECOSA members are assured of a protective and nurturing environment. Known for her motherly love and dedication to both male and female students, Madam Kimibei embodies the spirit of community that KECOSA aspires to promote. “I see myself as a mother to all students from Kericho County,” she stated in an previous kecosa meeting. “It is my duty to ensure that every student feels safe and supported during their time at university.”


Kecosa also emphasizes the importance of mental and physical well-being among its members. The association has established a welfare office dedicated to ensuring that every member receives the support they need, whether it be through counseling services or health initiatives. “We want every member to thrive both academically and personally,” Kipkirui remarked.
